Since it was a double order, I was on a necessary time crunch. Thankfully, Misty was incredibly understanding and had her skilled team remake the order very efficiently. I wanted to write this review specifically to thank her, but I’ve also had the pleasure of dining here before. The establishment has been around for a long time, and the service and food are nothing short of exceptional. It’s a great place to get brunch with family, or friends. Lots of tables to choose from, several rooms including one , with museum because this restaurant houses an ice cream museum which is very interesting. The decoration also made a good impression on me because you can see many photos of this restaurant from years gone by and it is worth emphasizing that it has existed since 1901. “ We had a late breakfast on a Wednesday. We were seated immediately and our server, Valentin, greeted us immediately and took our drink order. The menu has a huge variety of traditional American food. I had Buttermilk pancakes with blueberries. Hubby had the two egg country breakfast. Our food was delivered quickly and was nice and hot and very tasty. The serving sizes are HUGE! We enjoyed our meal, the quiet atmosphere and the attentive service. Total bill, including generous, 25% tip was 45.00. The facility is handicapped accessible with plenty of free parking in the lot. The washrooms are also accessible. Patrons have the option of booth or table. We definitely recommend Colonial Cafe. ”
